In 1985, the farm was purchased by Manuel Velasquez from its previous owners, who had primarily used it for forestry with a small coffee cultivation area.  After acquiring the farm, significant agricultural efforts were undertaken to expand the planting, harvesting, and production of coffee.  Across three generations, the family has focused on continuous improvement, particularly in enhancing growth and production quality.  The coffee plots also feature citrus crops and avocado trees.  Manuel derives great satisfaction from the coffee harvesting and its commercialization.  The farm has become a cornerstone of financial support for his family, and Manuel emphasizes the special cultivation methods and meticulous care applied to their coffee.
